Bridgman furnace

A Bridgman furnace is a type of electric furnace used to grow high-quality single crystals. It is primarily used for the Bridgman crystal growth method.

 

■Bridgman Method Principle
In the Bridgman method, materials are placed in a crucible and heated to high temperatures to melt. The crucible is then slowly moved through a temperature gradient within the furnace, gradually solidifying the molten material from the bottom up to grow a single crystal.
