Optical Floating Zone Furnaces
This single crystal growth system uses the Floating Zone (FZ) method with infrared heating. By arranging elliptical mirrors and lamps in four directions, the system improves temperature uniformity along the circumferential direction, enabling the growth of high-quality crystals.

The use of four elliptical mirrors and lamps allows for uniform melting of raw materials, enabling stable, continuous single crystal growth.

Halogen Lamp

Xenon Lamp

Evacuation and high-pressure growth are possible.
Using an optional vacuum pump allows for high vacuums of 6.7 x 10-3 Pa or higher.
Crystal growth can also be achieved under high pressures of 0.95 MPa.
Please note that the purpose of the vacuum pump is to replace the gas with an inert gas such as argon or nitrogen. Crystal growth under a vacuum is not covered by the warranty due to the risk of deformation of the quartz tube (chamber) used for crystal growth.
Easy-to-Use Operation
Operation is simple via PC, and dedicated remote control software allows remote operation from another location. Some operations can also be performed manually.
Log recording and growth screen recording are also possible.
The user-friendly design has been well-received by researchers worldwide, with users only needing training (1-2 days) upon installation to master operation.
