This equipment can vitrify molten samples by rapidly cooling them. The heating source can be selected from a xenon lamp, halogen lamp, or laser, and the rapid cooling method is available in roller and hammer types. Models with a built-in rapid cooling roller equipment can also control the atmosphere inside the chamber.

By combining a halogen or xenon type lamp heating unit with a quenching roller unit, it is possible to apply it to vitrification experiments of high-melting point materials.
